Disney has two basic types of restaurants; “Quick Service” (walk-up restaurants) and “Table Service” (sit-down restaurants, where you’ll have a server, etc. This also includes Character Dining). The Dining Plans offer credits for those restaurants.
Disney’s Quick Service Dining Plan: $57.01 per adult, per night | $23.83 per child, per night (ages 3-9)

$21.99 plus tax (soda – $4.50 | coffee $3.80)

The Fine Print:
The Dining Plan Must be added to each night of your stay and for each member of your party in yoru room.
Kids ages 3-9 must order from the kids menu. Their drink is whatever is included in the kids’ meal – no specialty drinks like smoothies or milshakes.
Kids ages 2 and under do not get a Dining Plan. It is assumed that they will share with other people or that food will be brought for them.
Tax is included, but gratuity at Table Service restaurants are not.
Signature dining experiences and some character dining experiences require 2 table service credits per person.
